Biovalve Safe is designed to protect the health-care worker from accidental infections due to needlestick injury or blood splatter. It integrates an engineered passive safety systems.The lateral injection port is fitted with a colour-coded cap (according to the size of the catheter) meeting the requirements of the ISO norm 10555-5.Biovalve Safe is also supplied with a cap to obturate the catheter if it is not used immediately after its placement.
